Silk Bijoux

Silk Bijoux, which means Silk Jewels in French, was born from the love and enthusiasm that Jan and Nicole had for silk painting. At the beginning of 1988, these artists brought their special talents and multicultural backgrounds together to create a unique experience in wearable art. All of our silk Tallit are individually hand painted creating a one of a kind piece of wearable art. Using the finest French silk dyes, most of our designs are painted on a medium weight crepe de chine, with other designs on the highest quality jacquard silk . Variations in color and texture are the hallmark of a hand painted silk piece and the nuances of shading and colors are what give each piece its unique personality and are not considered as imperfections.
