Shain-Schloss, Karen

Karen Shain Schloss is a calligrapher, graphic designer, and cut paper artist. Using calligraphy and the traditional medium of cut paper she creates intricate designs for life cycle pieces, family trees, and ketubah (marriage documents). She calligraphies formal testimonials and documents for business and industry, as well as songs and poems for friends and lovers. Karen has created designs for religious institutions and has been commissioned to create artwork for major installations in synagogues and schools.
