Barcelona ketubah is a giclee by Marion Zimmer. This Ketubah is based on several medieval motifs taken from Hebrew illuminated manuscripts and is rich in color, symbolism and history. The pillars and upper motifs were inspired by a 13th century prayer book found in Southern Germany. The word ‘Ketubah’ in the center arch is based on an Italian Book of Psalms, and the red filigree is from a 15th century bible found in Barcelona, Spain. The top panel contains symbols of Jewish life used in both medieval and contemporary times. When personalizing, you have the option of having your names in Gold or Black ink.
